Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg & Telemetry

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) with Med/Surg and Telemetry experience to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. Candidates must be team-oriented, flexible, and willing to float to other departments as needed based on staffing and patient care requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Washington State RN License OR Multi-State Compact License
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Completion of Washington State Approved 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Training
• Verification of Demographics through Nursys
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Previous Med/Surg and Telemetry experience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, treatments, and responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Float to other departments as assigned to support patient care needs.
• Adhere to all patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
