We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional care in a Long Term Care setting. The ideal candidate will support residents with daily living activities, promote comfort and safety, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
Obtain and document vital signs and other required patient information.
Provide safe transfers and reposition residents as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation using PointClickCare EMR.
Float to all units within the facility as required.
Deliver compassionate care to residents with multiple conditions, including multiple sclerosis (MS), orthopedic needs, dementia, and memory care.
Requirements:
Active New York CNA license required.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a long-term care or similar setting.
Ability to work every other weekend.
Willingness to float between units within the same building.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
Additional Information:
Schedule includes every other weekend.
37.5 guaranteed hours per week.
Overtime paid after 40 hours worked.
40-bed unit with a diverse long-term care patient population.
