Certified Nursing Assistant
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered care by assisting with activities of daily living and supporting the health, safety, and comfort of residents. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional care while following established policies, procedures, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and transfers.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
- Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and other required clinical information.
- Ensure residents’ needs are met in a timely, respectful, and compassionate manner.
- Observe and immediately report any suspected abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and facility operations.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required and must be maintained in good standing.
- At least 1 year of related healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment.
