We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and nursing staff by assisting with daily living activities, medication assistance, resident transportation, and safety checks. You will also play an important role in promoting social-emotional well-being and enhancing overall resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and mobility.
Support medication assistance and nurse-delegated tasks as permitted.
Transport residents safely within the facility.
Perform routine safety checks and monitor resident well-being.
Provide compassionate emotional support and encourage resident engagement.
Document care accurately using the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care.
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for all residents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Previous long-term care experience preferred.
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic medical records preferred.
Medication passing experience preferred.
Required Licenses & Certifications:
Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants certification.
Washington DSHS Dementia Specialty Training certification.
Washington DSHS Mental Health Specialty Training certification.
Washington DSHS Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training certification (required upon hire).
