Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting. The ideal candidate will have strong ED experience, including pediatric patients, previous travel nursing experience, and the ability to care for patients across all age groups while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) or Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Floating required

Unit Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department
  • 2 Triage Beds
  • 40 Acute Care Beds
  • 6 Super Track Beds
  • 2 Trauma Rooms
  • 10 Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Beds
  • 6 Psychiatric Beds
• Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Stroke
  • Sepsis
  • Trauma
  • Myocardial Infarction (MI)
  • Cardiac Arrest
  • Respiratory Failure
• Specialty Equipment:
  • Rapid Infusor
  • Arctic Sun
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active New York RN License
• NURSYS verification of all RN licenses
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (required at submission)
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
