We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. This role requires flexibility to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with the possibility of floating to other units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents while assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Receive and provide accurate shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
Conduct routine resident rounds and promptly report any changes in condition to the nursing team.
Assist in assessing new residents and monitor residents who are ill, have experienced falls, or sustained injuries.
Document resident observations, assessments, and care provided in accordance with facility policies.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and assist with direct patient care.
Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, therapists, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and staff.
Float to other units as assigned to support patient care needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
Qualifications:
Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License – Required
Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to recognize and report changes in resident conditions promptly.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
